Neurosurgical Specialties
The ideal treatment for back and neck pain varies from patient to patient. Each case requires understanding the patient’s medical history, reviewing the patient’s current medications and lifestyle, and recommending needed diagnostic tests.
Dr. Michael’s goal is to find the least invasive treatment that provides the best results. The good news is that most problems he sees don’t require surgery. They may be resolved with physical therapy and other non-invasive treatments. Occasionally, a case may require surgery or more extensive treatment.
Dr. Chris Michael specializes in the following neurosurgical treatments:
- Conservative spine therapy
- Minimally-invasive spine surgery
- Microdiscectomy
- Transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion
- Cervical artificial disc replacement
- Microlaminectomy and microforaminotomy
From day one, Dr. Michael has always spent time with patients to understand their needs. He’ll develop a customized treatment plan specific to your healthcare needs.
